Our Story

It began where the fog meets the gold.

Four chapters, two countries, and one very long dinner that never really ended.

Chapter I

Two cities, one table

She grew up in Guadalajara, in a house where the kitchen was the loudest room. He grew up between languages and time zones, always with a suitcase half packed. They met the way most good things happen — accidentally, and then very much on purpose. What started as one long dinner turned into a habit neither of them wanted to break.

Chapter II

A passport full of us

Lisbon in the heat, with cold beer and no plan. Late trains, wrong turns, and the discovery that they argue best over maps and agree fastest over food. Every trip taught them the same thing: home is not a place on the itinerary, it is the person sitting across from you.

Chapter III

Where the fog meets the gold

On a bright morning at Baker Beach, with the Golden Gate standing behind them, Samir got down on one knee. Margarita said the only word that mattered. There were tears, a very shaky video, and a stranger who applauded from the sand.

Chapter IV

Two families, one celebration

Now we bring it all home. A wedding in Guadalajara that carries México and India in the same breath — the mariachi and the dhol, the tequila and the chai, her grandmother's recipes beside his mother's. Three days, one very large family, and everyone we love in one place.
